Our trailer towing courses can cover all aspects of trailer towing, towing law, hitching and unhitching, loading, Stability, reversing and safe handling of trailers and caravans.
If you passed your driving test after the 1st January 1997 you must pass a practical category B+E test to tow a trailer which exceeds 750kg on a vehicle weighing 3,500kg; or vehicle and trailer / caravan / horsebox combination over 3,500kg.
The standard "B" licence will allow you to tow a combination (vehicle and trailer) with a Maximum Authorised Mass (MAM) which does not exceed 3,500kg providing that the MAM of the trailer does not exceed the unladen mass of the towing vehicle.
